This poncho-style long kaftan represents a unique Panamanian collaboration between indigenous artisans and local tailors and designers at Nido. It features authentic Guna indigenous molas from Panama. The Poncho has a V-neck, squared hem, adjustable ties on each side. It also includes handmade washable tassels.

What We Do:

Since 2010, Nido has worked with rural female tailors and artisans from remote corners of Panama to revive the local artisanal market. Despite Panama’s rich indigenous textile traditions, they were underrepresented in global markets. Nido introduced designs featuring Guna Molas and Ngabe Bugle textile art, pioneering the fashionable application of Panama’s indigenous textile art. Today, Nido is a respected brand known for its sustainable ready-to-wear clothing, sought after both locally and globally.
