This is a beautiful handwoven tunic or beach cover-up made of soft cotton. The Lopez family of Mitla, Oaxaca uses an old fashioned pedal loom to create these textiles, which are as comfortable as they are beautiful. It retains some of the characteristics of the traditional "huipil" of the region fits well with a contemporary ethnic inspired look. While perfect for a summer beach cover it can also be creativley layered in cooler seasons.
